The City of Trail, which has a population of 7,700 and a total trading area of 20,500, is situated in the Columbia River Valley of southeastern British Columbia. We are ideally located midway between Calgary, AB and Vancouver, BC (7 1/2 hours drive either way), 3 hours from Cranbrook, BC and 2 1/2 hours drive from Spokane, Washington.

The Castlegar Airport is 31 kms. from the Charles Bailey Theatre.

For golfers, in Rossland and Birchbank 2 eighteen-hole courses and 1 nine-hole
course is available. The Rossland/Trail Country Club has a great practice
facility and driving range. The Castlegar Golf Course (pictured) is nestled
on a mountain plateau and is noted as one of the top 100 golf courses in North
America. The area's newest course, Champion Lakes Golf and Country Club, is
a nine-hole course located off Highway 3.
