Project Soul: Back to Basics

The number one Vancouver Street Dance Crew is coming to share their passion with the  West Kootenays during the Youth Arts Festival from February 23rd to March 4th.   With workshops, school performances and fabulous shows in Nelson and Trail, their mission is to inspire one soul at a time through the art of street dance.

Encompassing all different genres of street dance, they do popping, locking, hip hop and break dancing. Kim Sato, founder and Artistic Director has devoted her skills to spreading the hip hop dance culture to people of all ages.

Kim Sato, Victor Tran, Jackie Agudo, Bryce Koebel, Rupert Common and Jada Powell make up Project Soul street dance collective.

"Project Soul is used to having the crowd “lose it” and that’s all OK. When you feel the groove you gotta bust a move." --Vancouver Sun
