The Trail Family and Individual Resource Centre Society has been serving the community since its’ formation in 1979 as the Women in Need Society. Originally formed to support women and children in abusive situations, the Society has grown to include services and programs to families, individuals, children and youth. The WINS Transition House, Nova Vita Second Stage Housing, and Childcare Resource and Referral, and Specialized Victim Assistance are the main services with many parenting courses and family and victim counseling also available.
