The Trail Pipe Band is represented by many of the small communities that make up Greater Trail. Our members come from Glade, Castlegar, Genelle, Rossland, Beaver Valley, Warfield, and of course, the City of Trail in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia State.

Our goal is to promote the Scottish tradition in our communities by teaching both the arts of piping and drumming; and to demonstrate these arts by performing in concerts and parades as requested throughout the Kootenay region and the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

We are a local branch of the BCRMTA which is a B.C. division of Canada-wide Federation of private music teachers, created under an Act of Parliament. The most important qualification of the Association's members is that they must hold a recognized music degree or Associate teacher's diploma from a University or Conservatory. Such qualification demonstrates a high level of musical ability and education, and a commitment to professionalism. Our aim is to provide the highest caliber of music instructions possible.
